I never liked the design for Bag End in the movie...it seemed so cartoony and fairy tale-ish. Showed a lot of movement in the shots and development, and never settled in one quiet place, even Bag End seemed noisier than it really was....so inviting a place for a hobbit that never invited anyone over...

Two nights work or so I believe...Iknow its missing some minor details, but never mind them for now, its still a work in progress, I never seem to want to finish these fully....would have liked to do more details on the fence, windows and door, but I got what I wanted from it I guess, that feeling of quietude under the hill....before Gandalf came and stirred the hermitage spirit...

This looks great. All it needs (as you said) is some extra detail on the fence, and perhaps another door within one of the distant hills.
