A man looked up at the heavens and said: "See there, all the diamonds? I will steal them all and trap them in my net!"
"You are a fool!", his wife said, "the stars cannot be caught, they belong to the heavens."
"I will return with all the diamonds in the heavens and we will be as rich as Kings!" And so the man hunted, sea after sea, for the stars, and found the edge of the Earth and called to the Heavens and said: Oh Stars! bend your heads only a little for me, so that my net can wrap around your shoulders and you can be mine to return home with. But the stars did not respond, and he heard no reply all the evenings and nights he spent in search of at least one star to capture. The man grew weary. When he looked at the star one night, he saw in the sky the Virgin Goddess pouring water from her urn of life, and when he saw her rise above the sea that evening, he said, here, I will pull on the water that comes through! And when the man sailed to that star, the waters from the urn fell hard upon the sea, and washed that old man to the shore. The evening after, the man weaved his net once more, and sought another star in his voyage on the sea.
A commission for my lovely new friend. He will be printing these on collectibles. Maybe in the near future they will turn into a twelve piece collection. I will link you as soon as they are up for sale.
Now I'm actually considering freelance but gosh you've worked so hard to get here so I don't know if I can do it
Love it!
